Everything We See is Part of God’s “Let it Be.”

In “Everything We See is Part of God’s Let It Be” S5 / E 77 of I Took a Right Turn: We open up talking about the weather here in the Promised Land, it’s beautiful Autumn weather.  Warm for October we are in the 70’s during the day and 50-60 at night.  Lately Robert has been taking walks wearing nothing heavier than a T-shirt and for late October that is unusual, but pleasant for the middle of North America.

We then talk about praying as we have for the lost several weeks.  Robert recommended reading Andrew Murray on Prayer.  It is a godly work and if we will let it, it can guide us into a deeper relationship with God and a desire to meet Him in prayer.  We ask for prayers and remind people they can send their prayer requests to us through our website www.itookarighturn.com

Our musical portion of the podcast begins with a rousing song we have been playing in revivals and prayer meetings for decades, He Set Me Free.  We follow that with an old song that has blessed generations of believers and led multitudes toa renewed appreciation for what Christ has done in their lives, Jesus I’ll Never Forget.  Then comes a song that came to us from our time in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Hallelujah I Want to Sing All About it.  This is a song which if we can keep it in our heart will help us whenever we feel as if the battle is too hard or the road too steep.  Finally, we share another of our homegrown songs, one that was inspired by Christ’s confession of Who He really is, I Am.

Looking into God’s Holy Word we turn to Genesis 1:1. This is where everything begins, this is where God begins His revelation to humanity, “In the Beginning…”  And if we don’t acknowledge that it is all God right from the start, we have missed the point of it all.

We want to invite everyone to send us your miracle stories.  Everyone who does will receive one of Robert’s books.  We’re very excited about this new segment because we feel God has guided us into this expansion of the Podcast Ministry.  Just go to itookarightturn.com and click on “Contact” and use the message system to submit.

Then Robert reads another poem from his second book of poetry, Floating Through Time, “What’s the Point.”  Each episode this season includes a poem from this book.

The text of the readings from Robert’s book is posted the day after the release of each episode at www.itookarighturn.com All of Robert’s more than forty books are available in paperback, Kindle, and Audible through Amazon. As we have mentioned, Robert has begun releasing studio versions of his many songs.  His first release, “The Woodstove Blues” is now live on Spotify and all streaming platforms.
